The big five dive was a team was led by maritime archaeologist Stephanie Gandulla, and included women from the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and the Northeast Michigan Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative. The big five dive event was made into a feature length documentary film following the dive team around the Great Lakes’ and the women will discuss women’s equality issues, global climate change and human impact on the Great Lakes’ ecosystems.

This group of women divers, including myself, raced the clock to dive all five Great Lakes in 24 hours on PADI Women’s Dive Day, July 16, 2016. This was a fundraiser event for the Sedna Epic Expedition.
